I just bought a vacation property and I have no idea what I did?

Why should I turn my vacation property into an investment property?
         Great question!  When a person purchases a vacation property, the primary reason someone does that is to enjoy that property periodically over the years, and it allows families to build memories and legacy.  But many times, your vacation property will sit vacant.  Those are the times where having other families use your property so they can build their own unique memories.  AND, this is where you as the vacation owner, can begin to earn passive income to help offset fees, costs, or any expenses that can come up. 

Can't I just rent my vacation property out on my own?        
        Absolutely!  You can do what a small amount of people do and invest quite a bit of time to learn the best techniques to do that with.  Or, you can simply let EMG use their almost 20 years of time and experience and they will take care of all your marketing needs.


Why should I form a business to rent out my vacation home?  Can't I just rent it out?
          Sure, you can simply rent out your vacation home and make some money doing that.  BUT, if you form a business, you not only earn passive income, but you can then take advantage of taxable write off's year after year.  Which ultimately means more money in your pocket both through the year and at the end of a tax year.
